MOREnet Service Level Agreements to Change July

Effective today, Tuesday, July 11, 2006, MOREnet is changing
the way members select and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Videoconferencing Service Level Agreements
Videoconferencing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) will be replaced
by
MOREnet
Videoconferencing Conditions of Use (CoU) that apply to all members who
use MOREnet videoconferencing services. Members are no longer required
to submit an SLA for videoconferencing services, but must accept the CoU
when submitting a video event request. Compliance with the CoU will help
to ensure that all participants are able to have a high-quality video experience.
MOREnet will convert current Video SLA Contacts in the MOREnet
Contact database to site-level Video Technical Contacts.
Authorized Video SLA Contacts will be converted to site-level Authorized Video
Contacts.
Members may access the new Videoconferencing Conditions of
Use document from a link on the Services or Technical
Support page on the MOREnet website.
Network Service Level Agreements
All member sites will receive the same level of support during
MOREnet’s
normal hours of operation. Extended Internet
Connection Support hours are available for sites
that need them. Members will be able to request, view and manage their Internet
connection extended support hours via a new MyMOREnet Extended
Support Hours SLA application.
Extended support hours options include:
- Monday - Friday, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
- Saturday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- 24x7 (Twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week)
MOREnet will convert current Network SLA Contacts and Authorized
Network SLA Contacts in the MOREnet Contact
database to Site Contacts. It will no longer
be necessary to maintain separate SLA contacts.

Connection Support information from a link on the Services or Technical
Support page on the MOREnet website.

My Contact utility.
- To update contact information for your organization, submit
a Contact
Information Form.
