EBSCOhost: EBSCOhost Web 2.0 release

EBSCO Publishing is currently releasing its new EBSCOhost 2.0 search interface. This is the first redesign of the EBSCOhost interface since 2002, and its functionality incorporates the latest technological advances.

EBSCO Publishing has created a wide range of tools and information to streamline your transition to the new design:

• An overview of EBSCOhost 2.0 is provided in the Flash demonstration at http://www.ebscohost.com/2.0_flash.
• The EBSCOhost 2.0 Support Center is available at http://support.epnet.com/ebscohost2.
• EBSCO’s marketing website also features new EBSCOhost 2.0 web pages, where you can learn more about its key features, at http://www.ebscohost.com/thisTopic.php?marketID=1&topicID=969.

A particularly exciting development for MOREnet members will be the integration of Newsbank search results in the EBSCOhost 2.0 search interface. Searchers will be able to directly pull Newsbank results from the EBSCO interface seamlessly, both in the library and remotely. We believe this feature will go live at the same time as the 2.0 release.

Only the EBSCOhost Web interface will be changing at this time; all other search interfaces will be unchanged.
