Registration and Eligibility for MOREnet Training

Eligibility

Participants must meet eligibility requirements for training sessions. In general, for training at MOREnet in Columbia, the requirements are: 

• K-12 TNP - Any employee may attend; must register through their Institutional Representative or other MOREnet contacts.
• REAL - Any employee may attend; must register through their Institutional Representative or other MOREnet contacts.
• MERC members - Any employee may attend; must register through their Institutional Representative or Professional Development Contact.
• Affiliate members

  State agencies - Any employee may attend; must register through their agency training coordinator.

   

   

   

  Any other Affiliate member employees - may attend; must register through their Institutional Representative.

  Use the Find My Contact tool to find the individual in your organization through whom you can request services from MOREnet.

Costs

Training provided by MOREnet Trainers:

• DESE K-12 TNP - No additional fee
• REAL - No additional fee
• MERC - No additional fee
• Affiliate members, including state employees - No additional fee

  Courses marked with require an additional fee for all participants.

Meals

Meals will be on your own. Time will be allotted during the class for travel to area restaurants. Maps of the area will also be provided.

Registration

To register, please have your organization's contact complete and submit a Training Registration Request Form. Training requests should be submitted at least 7 business days before the event. MOREnet will send a confirmation message when registration has been completed.

Cancellation Policy

Registration Cancelled by Participant

Cancellations must be made at least seven business days before the start date of the class. For cancellations made within seven business days of the class date, or for no-shows without prior cancellation, all associated costs for fee-based services may be assessed to participant's organization.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation that your registration has been canceled.

Class Cancellation by MOREnet

MOREnet reserves the right to cancel a class due to enrollment or emergency events as follows:

Training held at MOREnet facility in Columbia

Training may be cancelled if fewer than five participants have enrolled as of five business days before the date of the class. MOREnet will notify participants via e-mail if their class has been cancelled.

Training held at non-MOREnet facility throughout Missouri

Training may be cancelled if fewer than eight participants have enrolled as of five business days before the date of the class. MOREnet will notify participants via e-mail if their class has been cancelled.

If the hosting organization has contracted with MOREnet to provide services and/or arrange lodging for participants, the organization may be responsible for any hotel-related penalty if cancellation notice does not meet the hotel requirement.

If the hosting organization has contracted the event as an in-service, they are responsible for contacting participants.

Weather or other unexpected disasters

As much advance cancellation notice as possible will be given in the event of a training cancellation due to inclement weather, emergency, or disaster. MOREnet will make every effort to reach registered participants. If the event is held at a remote location, MOREnet will work with the hosting organization to contact registered participants.
